The 7th meeting of the “Maintenance Circle” was organized by Sirca Executive Search and Artesial in the offices of newspaper Ouest France.
One of our findings: Manufacturing 4.0 is on tracks and brings a new dynamic to the maintenance profession.
• Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and the portability of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) are quite widespread and we entered the era of data for accrued security, efficacy, energy saving and cost reduction.
• Plants and equipment are far from being all digitalized, therefore virtual reality and augmented reality are most often at a stage of project yet will very rapidly be a reality in maintenance.
In summary, the maintenance profession is transforming and there are many opportunities for candidates passionate about new technologies!
