Coaching

Professional coaching is designed to allow a person or a team to achieve the objectives it has set.

Coaching acts by triggering or activating a desired change which the person fails to implement.
The success of coaching is shown by the adoption of new behaviors, individual or collective, that are visible in the environment.
Initiating a coaching approach means taking a path of gradual empowerment with respect to the problems encountered. Those who choose coaching manage to find fair solutions, that is to say solutions that are fully appropriate in the context the organization expects.
A request for coaching, whether individual or collective, may be related to a one-time event (taking position, change in business strategy, staff conflict, problem solving, etc.), recurrent difficulties (leadership, decision-making, organizing, etc.), or a desired or forced stage in someone’s professional life (career review, career transition, retirement plans, etc.).
Whatever issues dealt with in coaching, it is based on an original comprehensive contract, a specific methodology and a strict code of ethics.
Examples of coaching include:
• "Following a recent development, I need to find my place in the Steering Committee"
• "I want to be able to mobilize and convince my colleagues in a specific way"
• "I want to be able to adapt my way of communication to the diversity of the team that I coach"
• "After being let go from my job, I feel insecure and would like to try to maximize my chances of success in my job search"
• "As a Sales Manager, I want to develop my assertiveness with my clients, but also internally"
• "I want to correct my emotional instability and face when I'm under stress"
To pursue coaching is to be interested in becoming a successful stakeholder in one´s company.
